Fauura DeBarthe (1948-2023)
We recently lost a dear colleague and friend of idigNauvoo. Rina DeBarthe was an strong supporter of the idigNauvoo project. Her spouse, Paul DeBarthe, is the head archaeologists working on this project. We will deeply miss her smile and encouragement. Our prayers are with her family.
The archaeology staff of volunteers represent diverse backgrounds and communities of faith, but we are united in our love for one another and in our determination to discover, preserve and share the history and legacy of Nauvoo, Illinois. We hope you enjoy hearing Rina sing a song about Zion in her native Tahitian tongue.
