The ANS Legacy Foundation, DBA iDigNauvoo, is a 503b private operational non-profit organization. Our mission is to discover, preserve, and share, through archaeology, the legacy and history of the beautiful city of Nauvoo, Illinois.

All donations are tax-deductible up to 50% of  Adjusted Growth Income, or 60%, if cash donation. 100% of all donations are used for the operational expenses of iDigNauvoo. All participants are volunteers, so there are no administrative fees or salaries.

Discover

This provides for the day-to-day expenses related to excavation of the site, including housing at the Paul and Rina DeBarthe Field School for archaeological students and volunteers while at the dig. Additional operational expenses are also included.

Preserve

This covers the costs associated with building restoration, special projects, and artifact preservation.

Share

This provides for the publication and communication related to the discoveries found on the iDigNauvoo sites, including the display of artifacts and the purchase gravestone markers.
