idigNauvoo 2025

This year’s dig in Nauvoo, Illinois, will begin on May 6th through June 6th. We will be excavating the home of William Scearce. He lived in Nauvoo during the 1840’s.

The foundation was of William’s home site was discovered while the current property owner had a contractor install a new water line.

Shifts are available for volunteers between 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Since there is no available parking at the site, once you register, you will receive instructions on where to park. You can register now for this session, by clicking the link below.
